The Question for the Ages?

Perhaps the best way for me to open this blog is with questions.

And perhaps these are not only THE questions for our time, but for all time. It could be said that they are the most important & crucial in all of human history.

Is artificial intelligence – AI – safe for all time and all of humanity?

Whether yes or no, are we narrowing this answer down for the short term or the long haul?

If no, can it be ‘redeemed’ and be utilized for mankind’s benefit going forward?

And also, if the answer is no, what are the inherent issues that pose risks and how severe are they?

Last but not least, why isn’t EVERYONE asking these questions? Some are, but maybe not most.

Is the main reason most don’t question because it’s being sold through convenience and ease, as usual?
